What this policy covers

This policy applies to this website and to enquiries and business communications you have with us. Our products, CrossCares and TitleNook, have their own privacy notices, which apply when you use those products.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you contact us — through the enquiry form on this website (which opens your own email app), by email or by phone — we receive the details you choose to share, such as:

  • your name;
  • your email address and phone number;
  • your company name and job title; and
  • the content of your message and any attachments.

If you become a client, supplier or partner, we also hold the business contact and billing details we need to work together.

Information collected automatically

This website has no user accounts and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. However:

  • our hosting provider may automatically record standard server logs — such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time — to keep the website secure and running; and
  • the website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. Our Cookie Policy explains this in more detail.

Information we don’t want

Please don’t send us sensitive personal data — such as passwords, bank account or card details, health information or government ID numbers — through this website or by email, unless we have specifically asked for it and agreed a secure way to share it.

How we use your information

We use personal data to:

  • respond to your enquiries and requests;
  • prepare proposals and quotes, and provide our software services;
  • manage our relationships with clients, suppliers and partners;
  • keep this website secure and working properly;
  • meet our legal, regulatory, tax and accounting obligations; and
  • send you updates about our products or services, but only where you have asked us to. You can opt out at any time.

We do not sell your personal data.

Consent and legal grounds

We process your personal data with your consent — for example, when you choose to contact us — or for a legitimate use permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, such as using information you have voluntarily given us for the purpose you gave it, or complying with the law.

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us at corporate@vynton.com. Withdrawing consent won’t affect processing that took place before you withdrew it, and we may need to keep some information where the law requires it.

Sharing your information

We share personal data only where needed, with:

  • service providers who help us run our business — such as email, cloud hosting and IT support providers — who may use it only to provide their services to us;
  • professional advisers, such as lawyers, auditors and accountants;
  • government authorities, courts or regulators, where the law requires it; and
  • a buyer or successor, if our business is reorganised, merged or sold, subject to the protections in this policy.

Storage and international transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to keep your data protected, and we transfer it only as permitted under Indian law.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above — for example, while we are discussing or working on a project with you. We then delete it, unless we must keep it longer to meet legal, tax or accounting requirements or to resolve disputes.

Security

We use reasonable security practices and procedures, appropriate to the nature of the information, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, misuse, loss or alteration. No method of sending data over the internet or storing it electronically is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us straight away.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • ask us to erase data we no longer need to keep;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • have your grievances addressed by us; and
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before we act on your request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

This website may link to websites run by others. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
